Mateo (32), Belén (29) and María José (35) are three siblings who have become apart, but need to meet again in order to sell their childhood home. With this goal in mind, they start a journey to their hometown, but on the road the siblings will encounter signs and obstacles that could help them find their own conflicts and solve their family issues. When faced with what has not yet been buried, truth will arise as their unexpected fate.

Joaquín Mauad
Joaquín Mauad (Montevideo, 1990) graduated in filmmaking from the Escuela de Cine del Uruguay (ECU). He also studied at the Escuela de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV), where he completed a workshop on narrative and language in fiction. He wrote, directed and produced the short fiction films: “Malos hábitos” (2012), “Mi amigo verde” (2013), “La casa de Nico” (2014) and “Obnubilante” (2015) that were selected in different national and international festivals. Also he made the feature films: El Sereno (2017) in co-direction with Oscar Estévez and Años Luz (2021). In 2016 he created Anfibia Cine with Alina Kaplan, where he is developing different fiction projects as screenwriter, director and executive producer.
